I like that there is significantly less plastic than the other one and hopefully will be easier to clean. The plastic ones eventually hold mold where plastic pieces come together so l'll update on how easy this is to clean when it needs a deep cleaning.

Despite the smaller size from my previous fountain, this one actually holds more water at 3.2L. It was super easy to assemble the parts together.I like that most of it is stainless steel and can be washed in the dishwasher (bowl, fountain faucet and lid). The other parts still need to be hand washed. I also like the blue light window which makes it easy to observe the water level. It's a large capacity, which is good for my 2 kitties.Once kitty loves to drink straight from the faucet while the other prefers to lap up from the pool of water. So far I have not had any issues with overflowing and only time will tell how the motor holds up. I will update if I have any issues.
